We are a small Irish business that has created award winning, multi-functional products to help your day run more smoothly! At The Smooth Company we will always be cruelty free, and promise to do our bit for the environment.
We have documented our business journey on TikTok and have now reached over 90 million views with customers in over 46 countries around the world. The Back Story
The Smooth Company was founded by Aine Kennedy after she spent eight years working in the beauty industry and earned her degree in entrepreneurship from University. Like many of us, suffered many a bad hair day and saw a gap in the market for a hair hero that could control flyaways and baby hairs unlike any other. Aine successfully developed a unique formula for hair taming wand that would not leave your hair hard or greasy like other hair styling products can do. It took nearly two years to perfect the award winning Smooth Stick™ which is formulated with a unique formula is enriched with hair loving ingredients including Biotin, Vitamin E, and Aloe Vera which will help nourish the hair while also keeping it in place all day long. The Smooth Stick™ has not only become a fan favourite but has also become an internet sensation as Aine has documented her small business journey online and has racked up over 90 million views on TikTok. The company has grown from packing orders in an upstairs bedroom with her Grandad Billy, and family to becoming an internationally recognized brand in less than 18 months. The Smooth Stick™ launched in Brown Thomas and Arnotts stores in Ireland where it sold out in just four days and most recently launched in the UK where it is now stocked on Sephora.co.uk!
